Do-won Moon' 3 game winning streak
Korea team continued win in the 3rd game of Round 1.
Do-won Moon, a rising star in KGC Cup beat Janen Gaori from Japan in the 3rd match of Round 1.(move 301, by 10.5 point). Her win is not just a winning streak but also a new record for Korean team in KGC. She broke the previous record that Seol-a Lee made 2 win as a 5th representative in KGC by winning 3 games continuously.
The game was really dramatic for Do-won Moon because in the begging, her large group of stones could have died and even she was running out of time. Ironically, however, Janen Gaori made a big mistake at the crucial moment and lost the game.
The forth match is on January 11 and the next challenger would be Song Rong Hui from chinese team.
KGC World Women's Cup is administered by Korean Baduk Association and sponsored by Korean in Gingseng Corporation. The winning team will get 75,000,000W (aprrox 68,000$).
