Generally, the Korean Baduk players did very well in team competitions last year. They swept nearly all the team competitions including the gold medal in the Asian Games, earning enthusiasm of not only baduk players but also many Korean people who did not know how to play.
However, it seems that they are very poor at individual competitions as they lost the major titles to Chinese players. They also failed in major international tournaments such as Fujitsu Cup, LG Cup and SAMSUM Cup.
Reportedly, Korean players are training very hard for this year, and here is the schedule table of early in 2011 below.
